I'm not quite ready to declare victory over Lucifer, yet. But yesterday while helping mind my parents' antique sale, I finished seaming Greta and slipped it on. Mom and I both gasped. It looked great. The A-line shape is flattering and perfectly suited to the drape of the silk (Karabella's Empire Silk). The color is luminous. And it fits.

I have some kerfuffling to do about the neck and shoulders. Buttons to source (my stash disappoints). Blocking and dehairing (about a pound of orange cat fur) to accomplish.

Would appreciate any advice on the blocking of 100% silk and the dehairing part.

Still shaking my fist at Beelzebub and hoping for the best!
