I’ve had it in mind to crochet an afghan and stumbled on this pattern from Lion Brand—perfect for a rank beginner such as myself. I didn’t want to spend a fortune. So, I opted for the cheap way out. The, um, petrochemical way out. 100 percent acrylic. Darn thing will be here long after you and I are dust.
