Cervical collar cozy

Neckwarmers are all the rage for holiday gift-giving this year. Complete genius. So much less knitting than scarves.

While I was knitting the item pictured above, my partner in business travel observed, "Why it looks like a cervical collar!" Hence the name.

The pattern is my own. The yarn: Goosebump's 100% royal baby alpaca in natural brown. The buttons: From my vintage collection.

Now if I could only figure out who might wear the darn thing.
